You know this work.
Now it's time to receive it.
For the therapists, counsellors, coaches, and wellbeing professionals who spend their days holding space for others, and who
are ready to be held themselves.
Work with Kathryn Grace | IFS Intensives
Australia and Online Worldwide
You know about parts. You understand the nervous system, the patterns, the protectors. You might even use IFS with your own clients.
And yet.
You still spiral. Still criticise yourself. Still carry more than you let on. You help people navigate their inner world every day and somehow your own still feels like a lot to manage.
This again, is not a knowledge problem. In fact, sometimes the knowledge is exactly what's in the way.
When we understand something intellectually, it can create a subtle pressure, I know better, so why don't I feel better?
For helping professionals, that gap often comes loaded with shame. You're the one with the tools. You're the one who knows what this is. And still, here you are.
There's a difference between knowing about the court and actually playing on it. Between understanding the game from the stands and feeling what it's like to be in it. Learning about IFS, teaching it, even, is not the same as being accompanied through your own material by someone who can hold the depth of what's actually here.
That's what this is.
"Holding space without holding yourself is what makes the work heavy. The healing presence you're looking for is not another modality to learn. It is you, rooted in yourself, steady enough to stay there when everything else in the room is moving."
— Kathryn Grace
For Space Holders & Healing Professionals
You might be a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or coach. A pastoral care lead, a wellbeing manager, a yoga teacher, a team support professional. Someone whose entire role is built around being present for others.
You're probably good at what you do. Really good. People trust you, lean on you, seek you out. And that's exactly why this page exists.
Because behind the capability, there's often something else running. The helper who can't ask for help. The healer who keeps putting her own work off until things slow down…and they never do. The woman so practiced at holding space for others that she's forgotten what it feels like to be held herself.
You might even find yourself supporting someone through the exact thing you're quietly navigating. Sitting with their grief, their self-doubt, their fear of not being enough, while your own version of that same thing waits patiently at the door.
This isn't a failure of your practice. It's what happens when giving runs ahead of receiving for too long.
The ones who hold space for others are often the last to receive it for themselves. This is the space that's been missing.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
My work is IFS-informed, and it doesn't stop there. I draw on presence-based and contemplative frameworks, somatic practice, and a deep personal engagement with spiritual inquiry. What you'll find here isn't a single modality delivered by the book. It's something that's been lived, integrated, and shaped by years of doing this work on myself first.
So if you're coming in with knowledge of IFS, with your own training and frameworks, that's welcome here. You don't need to un-know what you know. But you do get to put it down for a day and simply be accompanied.
That's a different experience entirely.
The intensive format is particularly well suited to helping professionals, and not just because your schedule makes weekly sessions hard to sustain.
It's because depth requires permission. And permission requires space.
In a full day together, something different becomes possible. You get to stop being the one who holds. You get to be held. You get to follow your own thread without managing the clock, without performing insight, without knowing where it's going before it gets there.
This is not supervision or CPD. This is your own material, met with the same quality of presence you offer your clients every day.
What moves in an intensive often takes months to approach in weekly sessions, not because the work is rushed, but because your system finally has enough room to trust the process and go there.
THE WORK
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE
The House of Self Intensive is a full day of IFS-informed therapeutic work, six hours, with breaks, held over one full day or two consecutive half days.
It includes a detailed intake, a 90-minute pre-intensive session, the intensive itself, a pre-recorded embodiment practice, and a 90-minute integration session afterward.
Everything is tailored to you and what you're carrying.
$2,999 AUD — payment plans available.

It’s a powerful, immersive way to work with Internal Family Systems without the pressure of weekly sessions.
Instead of trying to squeeze deep work into 50-minute appointments (where you’re just getting to something tender before the clock runs out), intensives give us space to stay with the process. To keep going. To really land. You’re not skipping steps, you’re giving yourself the gift of uninterrupted time and full presence. The healing is just as deep (often deeper), because your system finally has space to soften, integrate, and feel the shift.

This is for you if:
You’re feeling stuck in familiar patterns and want to feel movement now, not six months from now
You’ve been carrying something heavy, a trauma, a stressor, a recurring emotional pattern and you’re ready to meet it fully
You’re short on time but deeply committed to your healing
Weekly sessions feel too slow, or hard to sustain in your current season of life
This is particularly well suited to helping professionals who are ready to receive the same quality of presence they offer others.
If you are unsure if this is for you, reach out and book a complimentary call and we can discuss your suitability. -
It can be, especially if your system is ready to go there.
In a 9-hour intensive, we get hours of depth-focused work. That’s the equivalent of a few months of therapy all in one sacred container.
More time = more momentum = more integration. It’s not about rushing healing, it’s about creating enough space for something real to move and ideal for those looking for focused, concentrated healing.

Once you’ve booked a free consult, I’ll get to know you and what you’re holding right now. If we both feel it’s a fit, I’ll offer you upcoming dates.
Before we meet, I’ll send you a short pre-session workbook to fill out so I can really situate myself in your inner world and tailor our time to you.
This isn’t cookie-cutter. It’s custom, personal, and deeply attuned.
-
Step 1: Book a free 30-minute consult (just mention you’re interested in an intensive!)
Step 2: We’ll hop on Zoom and explore whether this format feels like a good fit for you
Step 3: If yes, I’ll share available dates and next steps
Step 4: A deposit secures your space, and I’ll send you your pre-work
If you’ve got questions, or want to talk it through first, reach out. You can also email me directly at hello@itskathryngrace.com with “Intensive” in the subject line.

IFS is an evidence-based, trauma-informed model that understands we’re all made up of parts, inner protectors, exiles, and deeper aspects of Self.
Some parts push, some avoid, some perform, some spiral.
IFS helps you meet each one with compassion, not shame. It’s not about fixing or managing them… it’s about listening, healing, and restoring harmony from the inside out.Want to go deeper? I’ve shared more [here]
