Sanctuary is not about learning how to manage yourself better.
Many of us are already very good at that.
We know how to stay productive, composed and “self-aware'“.
But underneath that competence, many women still feel something deeper calling for attention. They’re restless, unsettled and tired.
I know this state of self-management well.
Managing your emotions, your reactions, managing any part of you that feels inconvenient, uncomfortable or in opposition to whatever it is you’re trying to move towards. Managing, not living.
Sanctuary is a space where that self-management can finally soften.
All that effort and energy you put into trying to control your experience finally gets to exhale, so you can meet what is actually here.
Because the truth is: most emotional patterns are not problems to eliminate (despite what our culture tells us).
They are protective parts of us that developed for a very intelligent reason.
And when we try to override them, fix them, or force them to change, they simply tighten their grip. In fact most attempts at healing are self-rejection in disguise.
This work is different.
Instead of trying to control your inner world, Sanctuary invites you to develop an honest relationship with it.
